An artist who graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1988 has returned to familiar surroundings to pursue a positive new direction in her creative interests. Shannon Grier, daughter of Wayne Grier, grew up in the Shady Grove community of Dandridge and has traveled far and wide in pursuit of her dreams. Now she is home again filming places around the county to use as backdrop for a motion picture she and business partner Jennifer Maner of STJ Productions are currently producing called ‘Brood X Magicada’ – named so for the year of the southern cicada invasion.

PLOT SUMMARY

England hosts residence to a most successful mortuary run by Mrs. Weembalmums and her son the well-known lunatic Steven Weembalmums. As a tribute to Alice Cooper and his "Welcome to my Nightmare", Steven introduces the audience to his crazy life ride by weaving in and out of Cooper's lyrics. Alice Sweet Alice examines Steven's childhood, his alter ego Alice, where we watch his growth from innocent child into the multiple personalities that fill adult life; which through the philosophy of funeral service education (provided by The Jeffrey Allen Pufton College) Steven advances his career in embalming and becomes owner of Weembalmums funeral home. This is how the nightmare unfolds.

Follow young Steven as he embarks on his life's journey thru attribute to the accompaniment of Welcome to my Nightmare soundtrack.

STJ PRODUCTIONS began in 2001 with two artist brainstorming. They wrote screenplays, took pictures, drew, told stories and investigated art. Thus began a staircase of fortunate events that brought STJ Productions to our present state. We take care of artist who live in, near or pass through Knoxville, Tennessee. If you got a show coming up in Knoxville and need a DJ, or opening act we got it. If you need graphics or business cards, we got it. If you need a video shoot or studio session, we got that.
