An artist who graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1988 has returned to familiar surroundings to pursue a positive new direction in her creative interests. Shannon Grier, daughter of Wayne Grier, grew up in the Shady Grove community of Dandridge and has traveled far and wide in pursuit of her dreams. Now she is home again filming places around the county to use as backdrop for a motion picture she and business partner Jennifer Maner of STJ Productions are currently producing called ‘Brood X Magicada’ – named so for the year of the southern cicada invasion.

STJ PRODUCTIONS began in 2001 with two artist brainstorming. They wrote screenplays, took pictures, drew, told stories and investigated art. Thus began a staircase of fortunate events that brought STJ Productions to our present state. We take care of artist who live in, near or pass through Knoxville, Tennessee. If you got a show coming up in Knoxville and need a DJ, or opening act we got it. If you need graphics or business cards, we got it. If you need a video shoot or studio session, we got that. We put artist first, just ask ours, check their myspace and ask.
