Mission
STJ, Productions longs to preserve
and to promote art in all known forms and to find new ways to showcase
artist. We want to capture
rare and unique expressions and remind of the many outlets that exist.
Art is new and old: we honor tradition, and magnify the future.
We appreciate the fine sense of creativity and the hard work that
goes into the process.
Legal Business Description
STJ,
Productions was founded on February 6, 2004.
It is a group of local artists who got together and brainstormed about
all of the oddities that were happening to them in the year 2004. Our group consists of a writer, photographer, audio-visual and
marketing specialist, and an enthusiastic fan.
STJ
is a company that prides itself in having insightful though, with a
revolving door of artistic diversity. We long to provide much needed art
outlets to help establish and polish the visions in a gifted community.
We do this by listening, being alert to our surroundings and taking note
of natures ever-changing landscape, which brings us to our oldest
project, Brood X.
Current
Position
STJ is a accomplished
production business, having recently been bombarded with comments
on the need for education assistance regarding the arts; the process to
this goal was formed. STJ
provides promotional
aids for it’s current clients. These clients consist of writers,
photographers, rappers, singer/songwriters, dancers/choreographers, painters, musicians and
actors. It also provides
professional resumes and letters of recommendation, along with
opportunities to make revenue.
For the past 3 years STJ Productions has been creating a motion
picture, a psychological thriller that incorporates the talents of all
of our clients. It is based on true events happening around the smoky
mtns town of Elkmont. Southern
Living in its May 2007 issue, has said "Elkmont; a modern ghost
town... see it while you can." STJ prides itself in having great
insight and striking while the iron is hot. A complete
sound tract, including such bands as Lunapark from the Ukraine and a
title tract from Blu Chez, is in production to compliment the film.
This project also includes a book option for the photographer and
concert tour throughout The States for the bands.
WHAT WE
OFFER

work on." Phil Bredesen.

creation to take place. STJ has produced a musical that is in the hands
of the Knoxville Actors Co-op. We have designed business cards, created greeting cards combining
photographic and poetic talents. STJ has helped to write two scripts that are

the community and have been well received, but not without want and

Shannon is the mind behind STJ. Ater
completing two poetry compilations, THE GATE and EBB AND
FLOW, she wrote Brood X Magidca, a full-length script involving true happenings
in the Great Smokey Mountains area. The Movie, “Brood X, Magicada”, has already
raised interest in the community and we have already filmed many of the
scenery that will make this film very nature oriented.
In 2004, the year of the cicada (Brood X) many strange happenings
occurred to us and our friends For
example, faces showing up on road signs after years of storage and
children waking up with enormous abdominal masses (big as footballs),
and don’t forget this was the year of the red moon and the loudest bug
infestation ever. With investigation, the lead finds out that these wild
events happen to occur every seventeen years, just as the cicadas come
every seventeen years. She incorporates legends told
of the town of Elkmont and winds them into a psychological thriller that
takes her heroine through trails of present and past, good and evil.
Shannon also has her hands in the local
music realm, managing the rapper Blu Chez and singer, model Keosha. Singersongwriter
David Tedder. STJ helps these artist by supplying them with photos, videos, and much
needed promotional tools. With her hands full, Shannon gives to
the community to her fullest. STJ looks forward to helping other
artist in these same respects.
Good ol' Rocky Top is a remix of the
traditional fight song of The Volunteers in Tennessee. Blu Chez is
a huge fan the The Vols and hopes to aid in their victories by pumpin
everyone up for the games. Hard Hitters is a documentary of
sixteen rappers trying to make it in the up-in-coming town of Knoxville.
It has been accepted into the NYIFVF and is playing both in L.A. (sept,
18) and in NY (Nov, 06).
